A word about the bidding: North's 1N bid shows a balanced 12-14 HCPs. With the excellent 6-card heart suit and 12 HCPs, South bids the game.

West leads the SJ, which you duck, East playing the eight; he continues with the ST, again ducked, East playing the six. Next, West cashes the CA and continues with a second club, East following with the ten and five. You have lost three tricks and must pick up the trump suit to make your game.
