A word about the bidding: A routine auction. West makes a takeout double, North jumps preemptively to four spades, and West then doubles for penalty. West has been known to do some unusual things at the table, however.

West leads the DK, followed by the DA, which you ruff. Next you table the SK; West wins (East following with the S8) and shifts to the HJ.
